OdS#23, a talented vinyl DJ specialized in Acid/Mental tekno music. With a passion for creating sonic journeys and a dedication to preserving the authenticity of vinyl, OdS#23 brings a dynamic energy to the dance floor, captivating audiences with his distinctive sound and long transition mixing style.

Biography:

OdS#23 is a seasoned DJ with years of experience and a profound love for Tekno music. Born and raised in the Netherlands, OdS#23 discovered his affinity for electronic music at a young age. His journey with vinyl began in 1993 when he bought some turntables and a record collection from a schoolmate. After a year of practising he saw an opportunity to play in a spanish club and took it. From that moment he knew what he wanted.

Drawn to the raw, organic sound and tactile experience of vinyl, OdS#23 embarked on a mission to master the art of DJing with this timeless medium. From then he mainly played in local dutch clubs with some step outs to a club in Rotterdam and clubs in France and Spain.

After a long break starting in 2002, he came back at the stage in 2013, starting out in a completely different scene, underground tekno. he picked up the dj-ing again and started to play at freeparties, teknivals and clubparties. In 2014 he organised a truck at the famous Berlin Fuckparade with a group of friends, afterwards forming the Hashtek23 soundsystem.

In 2019 he started the Hashtek23 record label, which unexpectedly grew out to a popular record label with over 25 succesful vinyl releases.

Music Style:

As a (vinyl) DJ in the Tekno scene, OdS#23 expertly likes to blends a range of subgenres, from hypnotic acid and driving industrial Tekno to pulsating underground sounds. His sets is characterized by creating a flow containing powerful basslines and immersive atmospheres, resulting into an electrifying and captivating sonic experience for the audience. OdS#23 knows how to read the crowd, adapt to different environments, and curate sets that take listeners on a thrilling sonic journey.

Achievements:

1. Performed at many Tekno events and festivals, including Acid Arena, Acidica, Defqon1, Tekno Sucks, Shot Down The Witch, Czarotek, Step Evolution (2 till 7), Ten Frequencies. Collaborated with many esteemed artists in the Tekno scene.
2. Started out his own record label [Hashtek23 Records), producing popular records with releases from respected artists.
