Highland Cow experience
Are you in love with highland cows? Here you can book to feed , brush and walk our highland cow Hattie. Hattie is a beautiful young lady who loves people! - Children must be aged 5 or above - Only available for up to 4 people per session ( private ) - Price is per person - Duration 60 minutes - Includes insta picture
Donkeys
Donkey Walking
Do you love Donkeys? Do you want to get up close and personal with our therapy donkeys? If the answer is yes to the above then look no further. Come and meet Poppy, Tommy, Thunder & Buttercup. Learn all about our donkeys and their roles as therapy donkeys, groom them and feed them and take them for a walk. Our donkeys can be walked by children age 5 years and above. Our Donkeys always work in pairs Doneky walking is from 1 mile to 3 miles depending on age group.
Pony / Donkey party
Have a special occasion, birthday coming up? Did you know that here at Life between the ears we offer parties that are completely tailored to you! We work closely with balloon artists , Bouncy castle hire and food suppliers giving you the perfect birthday party. All parties are tailor made you. Maximum of 15 children Duration 3 hours Quotations are given once a party package has been created prices from £20pp
Goats
Goat Walking
Ever wondered what it is like to walk a goat? well look no further, here at Life between the ears we offer goat walking. We have 6 very friendly goats who love being walked! This activity is wheelchair friendly and children as young as 4 can walk a goat , we do have additional leads available for parents to help out. Adults are able to walk two goats at a time , we sure do have a goat to suit you! This activity is 60 minutes duration The walk is 1- 3 miles depending on age group.
On The Farm
Lamb feeding session on the farm
Book a private lamb feeding session with us here at Life between the ears You will get to meet all of our animals, and bottle feed our little baby lambs. Lots of cute photos to be had also! - The session is a hour in duration - Suitable for all ages - Wheelchair friendly
Meet the animals
Would you like a private farm visit where you can get hands on with all of our animals? learn all about the history of the farm itself, enjoy a guided tour around the farm and learn some pretty cool facts about the oldest farm in Grange over Sands. You will meet all of our animals and get to feed them and learn all about them and take some pretty awesome photos of them too The session is 45 minutes in duration Wheelchair / Pushchair friendly No minimum age
Picnic with the Pygmys'
Another awesome activity to book is a picnic with the Pygmy’s for 2026! You bring your pack lunch along with you and pay per picnic whilst taking in the views and having fun with our Pygmy’s! - £5 per attending person - Duration 1 hour - You can play with the Pygmy's whilst lunching! - Dogs cannot attend this activity

As of January 2024 a new animal assisted therapy business launched in the North West !
Jo is sharing the love and joy of her animal team @ Life between the ears with her wonderful tribe of Farm animals.
Jo who has suffered great sadness and loss over the years since losing her parents, she lost her father when she was just 17 and then mother in 2022. A tragic life changing event for anyone.
Jo tried various therapies and help but nothing came close to what her animals gave her!
Jo who owns Horses, Ponies, Donkeys, Piglets, Highland Cow, Sheep, Seasonal Lambs Pygmy Goats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, 2 Chocolate Labradors, Ducks, Hens & Fish found that spending time with her animals helped her heal and get her life back.
Then in 2024 ' Life Between The Ears ' is being launched, Jos' aim is to help others. From people being ill, in nursing homes, struggling in life and those with all levels of learning difficulties. Animals take you as they find you they love unconditionally and it has been proven that human interaction with animals provides many benefits in all age groups. The presence of animals not only improves a persons emotional health but also physical. Therapy animals , and we also offer animal parties.
