This relaxing treatment includes an optional pressure-point facial massage using decongestant and immune-supporting essential oils, including eucalyptus and lemon. Hopi ear candling may help promote relaxation, ease stress, relieve sinus congestion, soften ear wax, and reduce feelings of pressure in the head and ears. The candle itself is a hollow tube made from unbleached cotton, beeswax, chamomile, sage, st johns wort and honey. As the candle burns, it creates a gentle warming sensation and a light suction effect. Each candle contains a safety filter designed to prevent any residue from entering the ear. During the treatment, your therapist will carefully hold the candle throughout the process while your hair is covered with a towel for added comfort and safety.
