The session is suitable for: - Complete beginners - Existing rowers wanting to try coastal rowing You’ll be introduced to: - Equipment and boat handling - Water safety - Basic rowing technique - Steering and manoeuvring - Getting comfortable on the sea This session is designed to give you a real taste of coastal rowing and see if it’s for you. Bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet and footwear suitable for the beach. *Already row on the river? Coastal rowing offers a completely different challenge, with surf launches, open water handling, and the exciting Olympic Beach Sprint format.
